The closed gate which Jesus "Prince of Peace" began his journey for peace & love ... and the Holy family passed through those gates to return to Nazareth. They had stayed here in Al Maharraq for 6 years and 10 months were they had rested from their journey fleeing from the killing of the young children in Bethlehem, ordered by King Herod. Inside the Ancient Church of the Holy Virgin Mary is located within the Wall's of the Al Muharraq Monastery, Quysia, Upper Egypt 01 ‎March ‎2012, ‏‎07:21:54
